Worli is primarily a commercial area. The very first commercial project was Shivsagar estate in 70’s, since then it has been an important area of Mumbai. Many known Indian companies have their offices here.
Other than the commercial part, some part of it is a residential area. The sea facing part of worli is residential area.
There are few places here worth visiting in Worli like Hali ali Dargah, this is a very famous pilgrimage. Nehru science center, which is largest interactive science center in India, Worli fort, not much is left of it, still it is a worth visiting place.
And recently new Worli sea link has also erected which connects worli straight away to Bandra.
