After this at the ending of 2005 this airport was notified as International Airport by the clearance of baggage and passengers.

• New parallel taxi track

Pune Airport is located in Lohegaon which also houses an Air Force Station which is the oldest establishment of Indian Air Force. In future AAI is planning to invest 20 crore for various expansions like:
